JUDY & CREW

Most private flights have no flight attendant.

Certified cabin crew and trained ground concierge, handpicked and personally trained to one standard.

The gap

The aircraft is extraordinary. The service is whatever is left over.

The FAA only requires a flight attendant on aircraft with more than nineteen passenger seats. Almost no business jet has that many.

So on nearly every private flight in this country, cabin service is optional. The pilots are excellent and they are busy flying the airplane. The catering stays in the box it arrived in, and the person in the seat is being transported rather than taken care of.

That gap is the entire reason this company exists.

What we do

Two ways we work.

On board

A certified flight attendant for the leg, the day or the full rotation. Sourced, vetted, briefed and confirmed by us, so you never have to interview a stranger.

  • Catering plated and servedNot handed over in the box it arrived in
  • Beverage service to preferenceTheir brand, their glass, their timing
  • Cabin reset between legsIt looks like boarding every time they step on
  • Briefed before they boardPreferences, restrictions and the occasion

On the ground

A trained representative at the FBO ahead of your client, present through departure or arrival. This is where we go well past what an FBO provides.

  • Present before your client arrivesBriefed on the tail, the passenger count and the catering
  • The client profile, built and keptAnd used on the next trip, and the one after
  • Occasions arranged on boardBirthdays, closings, homecomings, celebrations
  • Custom requests, not packagesIf it is specific, ask
  • A written recap when it closesIncluding anything we learned worth keeping

Service is not what you provide. It is what they feel when nothing goes wrong.

For operators and jet card programs

This is retention, not a line item.

The aircraft is not the product

Every competitor has a beautiful one at a similar number. Service is the only part of this that cannot be matched on a quote.

The profile compounds

Every assignment adds to what you know about that client. Year two is better than year one because somebody wrote it down and handed it back to you.

This is the part they see

Your pilots are extraordinary and your client barely meets them. The person who greets them is the face of your company for that trip.

Low risk to try

Start with one client, one route or one difficult account. You will know inside two trips, and so will they.

The measure of service is not what went right. It is what went wrong and never reached them.

The crew

Handpicked. Trained. Not a database.

I find them. I interview them. I train them. Then they work.

There is no fourth way onto this roster and no shortcut when we are busy. That is the only reason we can promise a client the same standard in every city.

Certification covers safety, and it should. Service at this level is a separate skill and it has to be taught.

Anticipation is the whole job. By the time someone asks, you are already late.

Questions

The things people ask us.

Do private jets have flight attendants?

Usually not. The FAA only requires one on an aircraft with more than nineteen passenger seats, under 14 CFR 135.107, and almost no business jet has that many. So the most expensive travel purchase most people ever make routinely comes with nobody whose job is to look after the person in the seat. The cabin is beautiful, the pilots are excellent and busy flying, and the catering stays in the box it arrived in. We exist to close that gap, on the aircraft and on the ground, with people trained specifically for it.

Our clients have never asked for this. Why add it?

Because they have never been offered it. Nobody requests something they do not know exists, and a client who has flown privately for twenty years without cabin crew has simply never had the alternative put in front of them. The first trip is where they understand it. The operators who move early on this are not responding to demand, they are building the reason a client stays.

What is the difference between what you do and what the FBO does?

The FBO handles the aircraft. Fuel, hangar, parking, the lounge, and receiving catering that an outside kitchen cooked. They are very good at that and they turn dozens of aircraft a day. We handle the person. A representative present for your client specifically, briefed before they arrive and accountable to you afterward.

What makes your people different from an agency roster?

An agency hands you a list of names and wishes you luck. Every person on this roster was found, interviewed and trained personally before a first assignment, and nobody is added because we happen to be short that week. Certification covers safety, and it should. Service at this level is a separate skill that has to be taught, and teaching it is the entire company.

Why not just hire our own cabin crew?

Some operators should, and the ones flying the same tail every day usually do. It stops working when demand is uneven. An in house attendant is a fixed cost against variable flying, and you carry the recruiting, the training, the recurrent, the insurance and the cover when they are unavailable. We are the variable version of that. You pay per assignment, we carry the roster, and you get depth in markets where you could never justify a full time hire.

Will you approach our client directly?

No, and it is in writing rather than a promise. Every representative signs a two year non solicitation covering our clients and their end clients, and that provision is enforceable by you directly, not only by us. We exist because operators need a service partner who is not also a competitor. The moment that stops being true we have no business.

Are your crew our employees in any way?

No. Every representative works with us as an independent contractor. We source them, vet them, train them, brief them, schedule them and pay them. They hold no employment relationship with your company and never will. You engage us. We handle everything from there.

Who carries the insurance?

Every representative is contractually required to maintain general liability, automobile and occupational accident coverage, with certificates on file before a first assignment and renewed annually. We can provide proof of coverage for any assignment on request, and name your company as an additional insured where the policy permits.

How do you protect our client’s information?

Confidentiality is signed before a first assignment and runs for three years after, with trade secrets protected for as long as they remain so. Representatives may not photograph clients, aircraft interiors or itineraries, may not keep client information on personal devices or personal accounts, and may not disclose anyone’s whereabouts or travel schedule at any time. For a principal whose location is itself sensitive, that last one is a safety matter rather than a formality.

What areas do you cover?

The United States, staffed by market, with new cities opened as demand comes in. If you fly somewhere we do not currently cover, tell us and we will recruit to it. We can also source internationally for trips that require it.

How much notice do you need?

Same day and next day requests are normal here rather than exceptional. Send the tail, the city and the time and you will know right away whether we can cover it.

How are your rates structured?

Hourly, per assignment, with a minimum, and travel billed at cost. Rates depend on the market, the notice and the scope, so send the city and the date and you will have a quote back the same day. You approve it before anyone is dispatched, and there is no charge until you do.

Do I need experience to join the crew?

Yes. We place certified flight attendants only, and experience is not negotiable. This roster exists because the standard is higher than the industry default, and that is not something anyone can learn from zero on a client’s aircraft. If you are certified, current and experienced, we would like to hear from you.
